Aluminum Poisoning Test
Aluminum poisoning test, exposure to Aluminum heavy metals or chemicals or compounds that contain Aluminum can cause Aluminum toxicity in the human body. You could be suffering from Aluminum poisoning symptoms, simple home health check to see your Aluminum exposure levels.
Health related problems caused by Aluminum
Aluminum is a neurotoxin that alters the function of the blood-brain barrier, it is one of the few abundant elements that appear to have no beneficial function to living cells.
A small percent of people are allergic to it Aluminum they experience contact dermatitis from any form of it: an itchy rash from using styptic or antiperspirant products, digestive disorders and inability to absorb nutrients from eating food cooked in aluminum pans.
In other people, aluminum is not considered as toxic as heavy metals, but there is evidence of some toxicity if it is consumed in excessive amounts. The use of aluminum cookware could contribute to our intake of aluminum.
Aluminum skin relater problems caused by Aluminum
Excessive consumption of antacids containing aluminum compounds and excessive use of aluminum containing antiperspirants are more likely causes of toxicity.
In research published in the Journal of Applied Toxicology, Dr. Philippa D. Darby of the University of Reading has shown that aluminum salts increase estrogen-related gene expression in human breast cancer cells grown in the laboratory.
These salts' estrogen-like effects have Aluminum to their classification as a metalloestrogen. It has been suggested that aluminum is a cause of Alzheimer's disease, as some brain plaques have been found to contain the metal. Research in this area has been inconclusive; aluminum accumulation may be a consequence of the Alzheimer's damage, not the cause.
In any event, if there is any toxicity of aluminum it must be via a very specific mechanism, since total human exposure to the element in the form of naturally occurring clay in soil and dust is enormously large over a lifetime.
Contents of Aluminum test kit
- 1 Colour strip on box of the kit
- 1 Test Instruction Sheet
- 1 Test-tube
- 1 vial with clear cap - Reagent 1
- 1 vial with red cap - Reagent 2
- 1 vial with yellow cap - Reagent 3
Preparation of Aluminum poisoning test kit
- Remove the 3 vials from the test tube
- In the empty test-tube, add 5 ml. of the solution to be tested for Aluminum
- The solution is now ready for testing for the presence of Aluminum
Conducting the test For Aluminum heavy metals
- Add all the content from the clear-cap vial (Reagent 1) to the test-tube containing the solution to be tested
- Close the test-tube and shake slightly and gently to mix the solutions.
- Add all the content from the red-cap vial (Reagent 2) to the mixed solutions in the test-tube
- Close the test-tube and shake slightly and gently to mix the solutions.
- Add all the content from the yellow-cap vial (Reagent 3) to the mixed solutions in the test-tube
- Close the test-tube and shake slightly and gently to mix the solutions.
- Wait 2 minutes and compare with colour strip
NB. Please be careful not to cause any foam to be formed when shaking the test tube
How to test for Aluminum in the body
- Add the required volume of the sample solution (saliva, water, urine, etc) to be tested for Aluminum into the test tube
- Close with the cap and shake gently. Allow the solutions to stand on the cap of the test tube for 1 minute.
- A colour change will indicate the presence of Aluminum (chart on label of kit).
Results from Aluminum testing kit
Result is measured accurately in parts per million. Tests the presence of ions of Aluminum to a high degree of accuracy to detect contamination in the body, water and on a wide range of materials in your environment
