How to keep healthy this Christmas

With Christmas on the horizon, we all know now is the time to dig out the cosy clothes and eat, drink and dance our way into a very merry time.

But we’ve got some very handy tips to help you survive the festive times.

1) Ease up on the alcohol. It’s the festive period, there are office parties, Christmas do’s and family gatherings. The booze quickly mounts up, especially if you’re a heavy drinker. Maybe take one or two events on your social calendar a little easier. You’ll feel much better the day after, but also overall throughout the month it’ll stop the pounds piling up.

2) Keep active. It’s cold, wet and dark outside. But you can always try joining a gym, taking a couple of classes here and there, going for a swim, keeping your body up and active rather than looking for an excuse to sit on the sofa and veg out with a boxset.

3) Fruit and veg. Eating healthily seems very obvious but it’s now easier than ever to eat all the wrong things. It’s cold and wet and we want our favourite foods to make us feel better throughout the night. But mix it up, throw in some veggies, look for a vegetarian alternative to one of your classic dishes.

If you’re still struggling to get your helpings of fruit and veg and balance your vitamins. Check out our fruit and vegetable sachets. Each sachet contains around the same amount of nutrients as 15 servings of fruit and veg.

4) Relax. Most importantly, this is the time to kick back and have some well-deserved me-time. The holidays can be a stressful time of year. Kick back, relax and have a me-day. Perfect for your mental health.
