The SELFCheck Stomach Ulcer Test is a simple and reliable test that you can get results from in just 10 minutes.
Around 90% of people suffering from gastric ulcers are infected with H. pylori (Helicobacter pylori). The presence of H. pylori bacteria in the lining of the stomach or intestine can cause chronic gastritis that can lead to a stomach ulcer and/or cancer. It is therefore important to detect these bacteria and receive treatment to eliminate the infection as early as possible.
Testing for stomach ulcers
During an infection with H. pylori, your immune system produces antibodies that are easily detected in a blood sample. Positive results may also be detected if you have been recently treated for a H. pylori infection.
